Native Plants and NW Tree Frog Mural

Date: Fall 2013

 

Description: This horizontal mural was created for the City of Shoreline.

 

The concept was to create a mural in a high traffic area that would add aesthetic beauty to the urban landscape as well as inform passersby about native wetland plants and animals in the area.

The native plants depicted are: Marsh Cinquefoil, Duckweed and Yellow Pond Lilly, as well as a Northwest Tree Frog.

 

Another local artists, Rebecca Rosman and Piper Rosman also worked on the mural. 

Location: Corner of 5th and 165th in Shoreline near the Crest Theatre (Ridgecrest Neighborhood).
